Comfort zones are cozy, safe, and happy places.
They are also places where nothing great ever happens either. It’s only when we are pushed, pressed, or prodded that we force ourselves to change for the better, both personally and professionally. We simply don’t change unless we must.
Stepping out of our comfort zone into the unfamiliar, unknown, unfriendly, and even unfathomable is the only way we can discover our full potential. Working outside our comfort zone is scary of course, but it’s also energizing. The trap tests our courage and commitment to being our best.
