My Prayer for the Life Insurance Industry
Dec 10, 2024I pray that agents help clients first and don’t ever put themselves first. Making money must be a by-product of helping people, not the other way around.
I pray that life insurance agents see their role as professionals helping people, and not just business owners making money.
I pray that agents understand that the service they provide is when they sell the right product to the right person at the right time in the right way.
I pray that selling the full value of life insurance including risk management, tax minimization, and foundational asset creation becomes a professional specialty.
I pray that agents understand that preserving our business from the banks requires serving the masses not just the classes – serving the masses not just the class! In this case, more is definitely more.
I pray that Life Insurance Companies accept that they cannot just “harvest production from producers” and must also contribute to the recruitment and growth of the agents who continue to help them build their business.
I pray that regulators appreciate the extraordinary social and economic value that life insurance agents provide the community by helping people do what they want to do but won’t usually do on their own.
I pray that life insurance agents and other financial, legal, tax, accounting, and trust professionals will work together to benefit consumers.
And I pray that today’s insurance professionals will continue to learn new ideas to make their communities, families, and businesses better every day.
God bless and “Make Insurance Great Again!”
